윤건영 충청북도교육감과 김영환 충북도지사가 15일, 샛별초등학교를 찾아 늘봄학교 프로그램을 참관하고 현장 목소리를 적극 청취했다.
이날 현장 방문은 교육청과 지자체․지역사회가 함께 뜻을 모아 늘봄학교의 성공적인 안착을 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.
샛별초등학교는 1학년 입학생 116명 중 80여 명이 늘봄 프로그램을 희망했고, 희망자 전원이 늘봄 프로그램에 참여하고 있으며, 양질의 늘봄프로그램 제공을 위해 한국교원대학교, 서원대학교, 남서울대학교 등 충청권 대학에서 개발한 우수한 프로그램을 적용해 늘봄학교의 질을 높이고 있어 눈길을 끈다.
특히, 샛별초 1학년 학생들의 학교생활 적응과 성장․발달 수준을 고려한 다양하고 재미있는 놀이 중심 프로그램을 맞춤형으로 제공하는 등 사업 시행 초기임에도 학생․학부모들에게 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
현재 초등학교 1학년 대상으로는 ▲놀이활동 몸 튼튼 마음 쑥쑥 놀이 시간 ▲문화예술 소중한 우리 전통 함께 지켜요, 꿈틀꿈틀 동화나라 운동회 ▲창의과학 재미있는 퍼즐 놀이 시간 ▲사회정서 내 마음 토닥토닥 4개 분야 5개 주제의 맞춤형 늘봄 프로그램을 매일 2시간씩 무료로 제공하고 있다.
이날 윤건영 교육감과 김영환 지사는 학생들과 함께 놀이 활동에 참여해 학생들의 눈높이를 고려한 맞춤형 초등학교 1학년 늘봄 프로그램으로 직접 경험하고 현장의 목소리를 경청하였다.
학부모, 교사 등 학교 구성원과의 간담회를 통해 현장의 생생한 목소리를 직접 듣고 앞으로 늘봄학교의 안착을 위해 추가적으로 필요한 지원방안과 협력방안 등을 모색하였다.
김영환 지사는 “한 명의 아이를 키우는데 온마을이 나서야 한다는 아프리카의 속담처럼, 이제는 저출생 극복을 위해 지자체가 적극 나서야 할 때라고 생각한다.”며, “충북 늘봄학교의 성공적인 안착을 위해 적극 노력하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
윤건영 교육감은 “올해 충북교육은 실력다짐 충북교육의 원년으로 체력․덕력․지력을 갖춘 미래 인재 육성을 추진 중에 있으며, 몸활동과 마음활동을 통해 우리 학생들이 균형 있는 성장을 지원하는 늘봄학교를 만들어가겠다.”고 말하면서, “우리 아이들의 미래를 위해 늘봄학교가 성공적으로 안착할 수 있도록 학교․학부모․지역사회가 한마음으로 힘을 모아주시기를 당부드린다.”라고 말하였다.
한편, 충청북도교육청에서는 3월부터 도내 초등학교 100교를 대상으로 늘봄학교를 운영하고 있으며, 2학기부터는 도내 253개 모든 초등학교에서 확대 시행될 예정이다.

On the 15th, Chungcheongbuk-do Superintendent of Education Yoon Gun-young and Chungcheongbuk-do Governor Kim Young-hwan visited Saetbyul Elementary School to observe the Always Spring School program and actively listen to the voices of the students.
The site visit was organized to promote the successful establishment of the program through a joint effort between the Ministry of Education, local governments, and local communities.
Saetbyul Elementary School stands out because more than 80 out of 116 first-grade enrollees have applied for the program, and all of them are participating in the program, and the school has applied excellent programs developed by universities in the Chungcheong region, such as Korea Teachers' University, Seowon University, and Namseoul University, to provide high-quality programs.
In particular, the program is receiving great responses from students and parents even in the early stages of its implementation, as it provides a variety of fun and play-centered programs that take into account the adaptation to school life and growth and development levels of first graders.
Currently, for first graders in elementary school, the program provides two hours of free playtime every day for ▲ play activity Body Strong Mind Mugwort Playtime ▲ culture and art Protect our precious traditions together, Dreamy Dreamy Fairyland Sports Day ▲ creative science Fun puzzle playtime ▲ social emotion My Heart Touch My Heart ▲ and five themes in four fields.
On this day, Superintendent Yoon Gun-young and Governor Kim Young-hwan participated in play activities with the students to experience firsthand the customized first grade spring program that considers the students' eye level and listen to their voices.
Through a meeting with parents, teachers, and other school members, they listened to the vivid voices of the field and sought additional support and cooperation for the future establishment of the school.
"Like the African proverb that it takes a village to raise a child, I think it is time for local governments to take an active role in overcoming the declining birthrate," said Governor Kim Young-hwan. "We will actively work to ensure the successful establishment of Chungbuk Jilbom School.“
"This year, Chungbuk Education is promoting the development of future human resources with physical strength, virtue, and intellect as the year of Chungbuk Education," said Yoon Gun-young, superintendent of Chungbuk Education. "We will create a school that supports the balanced growth of our students through physical and mental activities." Meanwhile, the Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education has been operating the program in 100 elementary schools in the province since March, and it will be expanded to all 253 elementary schools in the province from the second semester.
