청주시 수출주력 상품인 화장품, 베트남 수출 전격 추진
청주시는 찐 득 쿠옹 베트남 비엣텔 포스트 영업본부장을 비롯한 비엣텔 포스트 대표단이 청주시를 방문했다고 19일 밝혔다.
이날(19일) 비엣텔 포스트 대표단은 청주시 화장품 기업들과의 수출협력 방안에 대해 논의하고, 청주시와 주한베트남대사관 무역대표부와의 국제교류 및 통상협력을 위한 양해각서를 체결했다.
지난 8월 청주시 대표단이 비엣텔 포스트 본사를 방문해 청주지역 화장품 베트남 수출에 대해 상호협의한 이후 지속적으로 양 기관 간 협력을 추진했다.
비엣텔 포스트는 베트남 제1의 통신국영회사인 비엣텔 그룹의 물류분야 회사로 이동통신 분야뿐만 아니라 물류, 방송 등 다양한 분야에서 베트남을 선도하는 기업이다.
청주시는 437개의 화장품 기업이 있는 우리나라 제1의 화장품 도시이며, 청주시화장품기업협회와의 협력을 통해 K뷰티의 선도적인 역할을 하고 있다.
시 관계자는 “청주시와 비엣텔 포스트의 협력으로 화장품 분야에서 양국 간 큰 성과가 있을 것으로 확신한다”며, “양 기관 간 공동번영을 향해 나아가자”고 강조했다.
찐 득 쿠옹 영업본부장은 “지난 8월부터 시작된 청주시와의 교류가 결실을 맺게 돼 대단히 기쁘다”며, “주한베트남대사관 무역대표부와 청주시와의 양해각서 체결을 통해서 양 기관 간 통상, 교류‧협력이 돈독하게 이뤄질 것을 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 비엣텔 포스트 대표단은 청주시화장품기업협회와의 실무회의를 통해 각 기업의 우수제품을 소개받는 시간을 갖고, 10여 개 청주시 화장품 기업들을 직접 방문해 구체적인 수출협력 방안을 모색한 후 귀국한다.

The delegation discussed export cooperation with cosmetics companies in Cheongju and signed a memorandum of understanding for international exchange and trade cooperation between Cheongju and the Trade Representative Department of the Embassy of Vietnam in Seoul.
Since a delegation from Cheongju City visited Viettel Post's headquarters in August to mutually discuss the export of Cheongju cosmetics to Vietnam, the two organizations have continued to promote cooperation.
Viettel Post is a logistics company of Viettel Group, Vietnam's No. 1 state-owned telecommunications company, and is a leading company in Vietnam in various fields such as logistics and broadcasting as well as telecommunications.
Cheongju is Korea's No. 1 cosmetics city with 437 cosmetics companies and is playing a leading role in K-beauty through cooperation with the Cheongju Cosmetics Enterprise Association.
"We are confident that the cooperation between Cheongju City and Viettel Post will bring great achievements in the field of cosmetics between the two countries," said an official from the city, emphasizing that "let's move towards shared prosperity between the two organizations."
"We are very happy that the exchanges with Cheongju City that started last August have come to fruition," said Mr. Zin Duc Cuong, Head of Sales Department of Viettel Post. "Through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Trade Representative Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea and Cheongju City, we hope to deepen trade, exchange and cooperation between the two organizations."
Meanwhile, the Viettel Post delegation held a working meeting with the Cheongju Cosmetics Business Association to introduce the excellent products of each company, and visited more than 10 cosmetics companies in Cheongju City to explore specific export cooperation measures before returning home.
