음성군 한일중학교(교장 김기인)는 지일 소리나눔 페스티벌 10주년 음악회를 음성문화예술회관에서 개최했다.
한일중학교 전교생은 음악 교과 시간 및 동아리 시간, 방과후 수업 시간에 음악의 아름다움을 경험하고 새로운 악기를 익히며 감성을 채우는 시간을 보내왔다.
이번 소리나눔 페스티벌 10주년 음악회는 전교생이 참여하고, 학부모와 군민들을 초대해 진행되었다. 칼림바의 맑고 고운 소리, 오카리나의 상큼한 멜로디, 우쿨렐레의 신나는 화음, 기타, 바이올린, 첼로까지 다채롭고 조화로운 소리의 향연이었다.
음악회에 참가한 3학년 김현중은 “어릴 때부터 바이올린을 배워 왔는데 한일중학교에 입학하면서 첼로와 함께 배워 실력이 늘었고, 평소에 악기를 연주하면서 힐링을 하는 편이다. 이번 기회에 친구들과 가족들 앞에서 연주를 보여줄 수 있어서 좋았고, 소리나눔 페스티벌 준비 과정이 여러 명이 함께 하는 거라 연습이 많이 필요했지만 음악회를 마치고 나서 정말 뿌듯하고 성취감이 느껴진다. 지도해 주신 서현주 선생님, 이영미 선생님께도 감사하다.”
또한 소리나눔 페스티벌에 참석한 1학년 학부모는 “음악회를 관람하면서 무대 자체뿐만 아니라 그동안 학교에서 아이들과 선생님께서 얼마나 함께 시간을 보내며 악기를 익히고 합을 맞췄을 지가 보여서 눈물이 났다. 아들 3명을 모두 한일중학교에 보내왔고 3명 모두 한일중학교 첼로반에서 활동을 해 왔는데 오늘 연주가 최고였다. 언제 이렇게 컸는지 대견하고 학교에 고마운 마음이 든다.”
한일중학교는 2013년부터 교내외에서 크고 작은 소리나눔 페스티벌 음악회를 개최해 왔으며 코로나19를 거치면서도 사람들에게 위안과 감동을 선사하는 연주 활동을 지속해 왔고, 지역 사회에서 소외된 곳을 찾아 연주 봉사 활동을 해 오기도 했다. 2023 한일중 소리나눔 페스티벌 10주년 음악회는 전교생이 1인 3악기를 연주하며, 학부모와 음성군민들까지 참여하여 아름다운 선율 속에서 모두 하나가 되는 뜻깊은 자리였다.
Eumseong-gun's Hanil Middle School (Principal Kim Ki-in) held the 10th anniversary concert of the Jil Sound Sharing Festival at the Eumseong Cultural Arts Center.
All students at Hanil Middle School have spent time experiencing the beauty of music, learning new instruments, and filling their emotions during music curriculum, club time, and after-school classes.
The 10th anniversary concert of the Sound Sharing Festival was held with the participation of all students and invited parents and civilians. It was a feast of colorful and harmonious sounds, including the clear sound of the kalimba, the refreshing melody of the ocarina, the exciting chords of the ukulele, guitar, violin, and cello.
Kim Hyun-jung, a third grader who participated in the concert, said, "I have been learning to play the violin since I was young, but when I entered Hanil Middle School, I learned to play the cello and improved my skills, and I usually heal by playing instruments. It was great to be able to perform in front of my friends and family this time, and although it took a lot of practice to prepare for the Sound Sharing Festival because it was a group effort, I felt really proud and accomplished after the concert. I am also grateful to my teachers, Hyunju Seo and Youngmi Lee, for their guidance."
Also, a first grade parent who attended the Sound Sharing Festival said, "Watching the concert brought tears to my eyes, not only because of the stage itself, but also because I could see how much time the children and teachers must have spent together at school, learning their instruments and harmonizing. I have sent all 3 of my sons to Hanil Middle School and all 3 have been active in the Hanil Middle School cello class, but today's performance was the best. I'm proud of them and thankful for the school."
Since 2013, Korea-Hanil Middle School has been holding large and small Sound Sharing Festival concerts both on and off campus, and has continued to perform throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, providing comfort and inspiration to people, as well as performing volunteer activities in marginalized areas of the community. The 10th anniversary concert of the 2023 Korea-Japan-China Sound Sharing Festival was a meaningful occasion where all students played three instruments, and even parents and Eumseong citizens participated, uniting everyone in beautiful melodies.
