옥천군은 내년부터 ‘노지 스마트농업 시범지구 조성사업’을 추진한다.
노지 스마트농업은 토양·기후·병해충 등 야외 생산환경과 작물생육정보를 실시간 수집·분석하고, 농작업을 자동화·로봇화하여 정밀농업을 구현하는 ‘데이터 기반의 지능형 농업생산시스템’을 말한다.
옥천군은 전국에서 처음 복숭아를 대상으로 2024년부터 2026년까지 3년간 디지털트랩 및 AI기반 영상진단 기술 등을 도입하는 병해충 예찰 방제 모델을 조성할 계획이다.
군은 지난 15일 국립식량과학원 중부작물부 대회의실에서 농촌진흥청과 노지 스마트농업 시범지구 조성 운영 업무협약을 체결했다.
농촌진흥청은 군에 개발 기술 및 연구·실증·보급사업을 집약적으로 투입하고 전문가 자문 및 컨설팅 등을 지원할 예정이며, 옥천군에서는 시범지구 선정·운영·관리하고 현장 의견수렴 등을 수행하게 된다.
황규철 옥천군수는 “농촌진흥청과 긴밀한 협력을 통해 복숭아 현장 문제 해결에 도움이 될 뿐 아니라 노지 스마트농업 확산을 선도하는 시범단지로 조성될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
Open field smart agriculture refers to a'data-based intelligent agricultural production system' that collects and analyzes outdoor production environment and crop growth information such as soil, climate, and pests in real time, and implements precision agriculture by automating and robotizing agricultural operations.
Okcheon-gun plans to create a pest prevention and control model that introduces digital traps and AI-based image diagnosis technology for three years from 2024 to 2026 for peaches for the first time in the country.
On the 15th, the county signed a business agreement with the Korea Rural Development Administration to create an open field smart agriculture demonstration district in the conference room of the Central Crops Division of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences.
The Rural Development Administration will intensively input development technologies and research, demonstration, and supply projects to the county and support expert advice and consulting, while Okcheon-gun will select, operate, and manage the pilot district and collect field opinions.
Hwang Gyu-cheol, head of Okcheon-gun, said, "Through close cooperation with the Rural Development Administration, we will not only help solve peach field problems, but also strive to be created as a pilot complex that leads the spread of open field smart agriculture."
