연말연시를 맞아 논산시(시장 백성현)에서 진행되고 있는 ‘희망2024 나눔캠페인’ 기부 열기가 뜨겁다.
시 관계자는 지난 18일 희망2024 나눔캠페인에 동참하겠다며 대우정밀건설(대표 권기범)에서 500만 원을, 논산제일성결교회(담임목사 최낙훈)에서 300만 원을 기탁했다고 전했다.
최낙훈 목사는 “내년은 교회 설립 90주년이 되는 해”라며 “90년간 이웃사랑을 실천해 왔다. 올해 역시 어려운 이들에게 나눔을 전하고자 한다”며 기부 취지를 밝혔다.
한편, 육군훈련소 제28교육연대 권요한 상사는 지난 11월 개최된 한국열린사이버대학교 총장배 ‘군 부사관 학술경진대회’에서 받은 우승상금 30만 원을 지역사회를 위해 기부해 훈훈함을 전했다.
백성현 논산시장은 “지난 주말부터 한파가 찾아오며 어려움을 호소하는 주민들이 많을 것으로 우려된다”며 “기탁자 여러분의 사랑과 ‘시민감동행정’을 한데 모아 따뜻한 겨울을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
희망2024 나눔 캠페인 기간 중(2024년 1월 31일까지) 이웃돕기 성금ㆍ물품 기부를 원하는 개인, 단체, 기업은 논산시 주민생활지원과(☏041-746-5272) 또는 읍면동 행정복지센터에 문의하면 된다.
The 'Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign' in Nonsan City (Mayor Baek Sung-hyun) is heating up as the year-end holidays approach.
A city official said that on the 18th, Daewoo Precision E&C (CEO Kwon Ki-beom) donated 5 million won and Nonsan First Holiness Church (Pastor Choi Nak-hoon) donated 3 million won to join the Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign.
"Next year is the 90th anniversary of the church," said Pastor Choi Nak-hoon, "and we have been practicing neighborly love for 90 years. We would like to share with those in need again this year," he said, revealing the purpose of the donation.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Kwon Yo-han of the 28th Training Regiment of the Army Training Center donated the winning prize of 300,000 won from the 'Academic Contest for Military Officers' held by the President of Korea Open Cyber University in November to the local community.
"We are concerned that many residents will complain of difficulties due to the cold wave since last weekend," said Paik Baek-hyun, mayor of Nonsan City. "We will create a warm winter by collecting the love of donors and 'citizen-impressed administration' together."
