글로벌사이버대학교 뇌기반감정코칭학과(학과장 고건영)가 지난 16일 글로벌사이버대학교 압구정 서울학습관에서 NLP심리치료와 자기사랑학 과목을 담당하고 있는 신차선 교수와의 만남을 진행하였다.
이번 학생 모임에는 20여명의 학생이 전국에서 참여하여 NLP 심리치료 및 상담 및 코칭 관련 토론과 질의 응답시간을 가졌으며 상담코칭 영역의 전망 및 앞으로의 진로에 대한 궁금증을 해소하는 등 다양한 주제를 나누는 시간을 가졌다
뇌기반감정코칭학과는 학부 과정에서는 거의 유일하게 NLP 심리 치료 과정이 개설되어 있는 학과로서 졸업 후 NLP프랙티셔너 자격증을 취득할 수 있고, 보다 실용적인 상담 코칭을 배울 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다.
학생모임 참여자 박정숙 학생은 “강추위에도 예상보다 많은 학우들이 참석해서 놀랬고, 온라인 수업에서 깊이 있게 다루지 못한 것들을 돌봄이라는 주제로 자신에게 적용할 수 있어서 감동이었다며 2024년이 더욱 기대된다”고 소감을 말했다.
또 다른 참여자 박호영 학생은 “상담 코칭 영역에서 내담자의 말을 잘들어주는 법(마음)과 기술을 습득하는 법(기량), 그리고 이 두 가지를 조화롭게 쓰는 방법들을 제대로 공부하고 있다는 것을 실감하는 시간이었다”고 말했다.
한편, 뇌기반감정코칭학과는 오는 20일 뇌기반감정코칭학과 진로 및 자격증 특강과 21일 부산 브레인 트레이닝 상담센터에서 뇌기반감정코칭 특강, 1월 3일 에릭슨 발달과정과 감정코칭 등을 진행할 예정이다.
글로벌사이버대학교 뇌기반감정코칭학과는 몸, 뇌, 마음의 통합심리치료를 표방하는 감정코칭전문가, 심리상담 전문가를 양성하고 있다. 상담 및 코칭의 이론적 학습에 그치지 않고, 직접 상담과 코칭을 진행해 사례 분석을 토의할 수 있는 동료 상담반과 청소년 상담사 3급 자격증 대비반을 운영하고 있다.
아울러, 현장형 인재 양성을 위해 정규과정은 물론, 상담세미나, 심리 관련 독서 세미나 등 줌 화상 강의, 명상동아리 활동과 지역별 학생모임, 상담 관련 국가 자격증 취득을 위한 준비반 등을 운영 중이다. 이를 통해 취업, 창업 및 강사 활동을 지원하며, 이미 창업하고 현장에서 활동하는 졸업생 및 학과 교수진과의 오프라인 만남을 통해 진로 계획을 세울 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.

Global Cyber University's Department of Brain-Based Emotional Coaching (Chairman Ko Gun-young) held a student meeting with Professor Shin Seung-sun, who is in charge of NLP psychotherapy and self-love, at Global Cyber University's Seoul Study Center in Apgujeong on the 16th.
About 20 students from all over the country participated in this student meeting, and they had a discussion and Q&A session on NLP psychotherapy, counseling and coaching, and shared various topics such as the prospects of the counseling and coaching field and resolving their questions about their future careers.
The Department of Brain-Based Emotion Coaching is almost the only department in Korea that offers NLP psychotherapy courses at the undergraduate level, and students have the advantage of being able to obtain NLP practitioner certification after graduation and learn more practical counseling and coaching.
"I was surprised that more classmates attended the event than I expected in the bitter cold, and I was impressed that I was able to apply the things that were not covered in depth in the online class to myself under the theme of caring," said Park, who participated in the student meeting, adding that she is looking forward to 2024.
Another participant, Park Ho-young, said, "It was a time to realize that I am studying properly in the field of counseling coaching, how to listen to clients (heart), how to acquire skills (skills), and how to use the two in harmony."
Meanwhile, the Department of Brain-Based Emotion Coaching will hold a special lecture on the career and certification of the Department of Brain-Based Emotion Coaching on the 20th, a special lecture on brain-based emotion coaching at the Busan Brain Training Counseling Center on the 21st, and Ericsson Developmental Process and Emotion Coaching on January 3.
The Department of Brain-based Emotion Coaching at Global Cyber University is training emotion coaching experts and psychological counseling experts who aim to provide integrated psychotherapy of body, brain, and mind. In addition to the theoretical learning of counseling and coaching, the department operates a peer counseling class where students can discuss case analysis through direct counseling and coaching, and a preparation class for the third-level certificate of youth counselor.
In addition, in order to cultivate on-the-job talent, we operate regular courses, zoom video lectures such as counseling seminars and psychology-related reading seminars, meditation club activities and regional student groups, and preparation classes for obtaining national certifications in counseling. The program also provides support for employment, entrepreneurship, and lecturer activities, and helps students plan their careers through offline meetings with graduates and faculty members who have already started businesses and are active in the field.
