과의존 예방교육 강사 및 가정방문 상담사 등 26명 참석, 하반기 실적 평가 회의 및 역량강화 교육 실시
대구광역시는 지난 14일(목) 산격청사 영상회의실에서 인터넷·스마트폰 과의존 예방교육 강사 및 가정방문 상담사 등 26명이 참석한 가운데 사업평가 및 강사·상담사 역량 제고를 위한 하반기 간담회를 개최했다.
이번 간담회는 올 한해 사업추진에 대한 실적 점검 및 애로사항을 공유하는 2023년 사업평가와 강사 및 상담사의 역량 제고를 위한 한국침례신학대학교 상담심리학과 권선중 교수의 ‘스마트폰 과의존 청소년 및 부모에 대한 상담적 접근’에 대한 특강으로 진행됐다.
특히 권선중 교수의 특강은 인터넷·스마트폰 과의존 상담에서 과의존 청소년 본인의 상담에 대한 동기뿐만 아니라 학부모의 적극적인 협조가 더해져야 상담 효과를 낼 수 있다는 점에서 마련됐다.
이날 교육에서는 청소년 스마트폰 과의존 해소를 위한 부모의 역할과 함께 단순히 스마트폰을 차단하기보다 조절력을 유지할 수 있는 심리적 힘을 기르는 것의 중요성에 대해 발표했다.
황순조 대구광역시 기획조정실장은 “인터넷 과의존은 스마트폰 사용이 필수인 요즘 거의 전 연령층에서 계속 증가하고 있고 그에 따른 문제점도 더욱 심각해지고 있어 이에 대한 예방교육과 상담지원이 매우 중요하다”며, “앞으로도 인터넷·과의존 예방·해소를 위해 예방교육과 가정방문 상담 지원 등 관련 사업을 적극적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.

The meeting was held as a special lecture on 'Counseling Approaches to Smartphone Dependent Youth and Parents' by Professor Kwon Sun-joong of the Department of Counseling Psychology at Korea Baptist Theological Seminary for the purpose of evaluating the business in 2023 and raising the competency of instructors and counselors, as well as checking the performance of the project this year and sharing difficulties.
In particular, Prof. Kwon's special lecture was prepared in light of the fact that counseling for internet and smartphone dependence requires not only the motivation of the dependent adolescents themselves to seek counseling, but also the active cooperation of their parents to achieve counseling effectiveness.
In the lecture, he discussed the role of parents in resolving adolescents' smartphone overdependence and the importance of cultivating psychological strength to maintain control rather than simply blocking smartphones.
Hwang Sun-jo, head of the Planning and Coordination Office of Daegu Metropolitan City, said, "Internet overdependence continues to increase in almost all age groups these days, and the problems caused by it are becoming more serious, so preventive education and counseling support are very important." "We will continue to actively promote related projects such as preventive education and home-visit counseling support to prevent and resolve Internet and overdependence."
