신상진 성남시장은 16일 오전 10시 30분 탄천종합운동장 빙상장을 방문해 훈련 중인 분당중학교 아이스하키부를 격려했다.
이날 격려에는 2024 강원동계청소년올림픽 홍보대사인 성남시청 직장운동부 빙상팀 소속 최민정 선수도 동행했다.
신 시장은 “제105회 동계체육대회 경기도 대표 출전과 2024 강원동계청소년올림픽 출전을 축하한다”며 “최민정 선수와 같이 성남시와 대한민국을 빛내는 선수로 성장할 수 있길 기원한다”라고 말했다.
분당중학교 아이스하키부는 성남시 관내 유일한 아이스하키부로 2011년 창단 이래 제67회 전국 중등부 아이스하키 선수권대회 금메달, 제104회 전국동계체육대회 은메달을 획득하는 등 우수한 기량을 보여주고 있는 성남시 관내 학교운동부다.
한편 2024 강원동계청소년올림픽은 강원특별자치도 일원에서 2024년 1월 19일부터 개최되며, 제105회 전국동계체육대회는 2024년 2월 22일부터 전국에서 분산 개최된다.
Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin visited the ice rink at Tancheon Sports Complex at 10:30 a.m. on the 16th to encourage the Bundang Middle School ice hockey team in training.
He was accompanied by Choi Min-jung, a member of the ice hockey team of the Seongnam City Hall Workplace Sports Department, who is an ambassador for the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games.
"Congratulations on representing Gyeonggi-do at the 105th Winter Olympics and competing at the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games," said Mayor Shin. "I hope that you will grow into an athlete who will shine for Seongnam City and the Republic of Korea like Choi Min-jung."
The Bundang Middle School Ice Hockey Team is the only ice hockey team in Seongnam City, and since its inception in 2011, the team has been showing excellent performance, winning a gold medal at the 67th National Secondary School Ice Hockey Championships and a silver medal at the 104th National Winter Games.
Meanwhile, the 2024 Gangwon Winter Youth Olympic Games will be held in the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province from January 19, 2024, and the 105th National Winter Games will be held across the country from February 22, 2024.
